Hawthorne (minus Karna)
It’s been an eventful month my friends. It kicked off with a show at Mercury Lounge on August 6th, our first show in NYC with the touring quartet.
The following weekend Hawthorne had a string of shows, one of which we recorded live and have put online for streaming.
The following week I took off to Northern California for a couple solo shows out there. Continue reading →
Just got to San Francisco. Already over caffeinated on a $5 cup of single origin pour over and talking spirituality with a guy named Brent.
Friends, I’m in the Bay Area and beyond for the next few days. Seeing Sir Paul McCartney tomorrow at Candlestick Park. Major bucket list item being crossed off on my birthday <– stoked.
Friday night I’m playing a solo show at a Furniture Studio in the Mission.
Saturday I’m playing a house show up in Sebastopol, CA.
Email me for info, address, and more on these shows if you or your friends/family/enemies are in the area and want to attend.
Sunday I believe I’ll go wine tasting in Mendocino/Sonoma. Any suggestions Cali natives?
32 shows in 38 days. It was a hell of a run! We returned to some of our favorite cities like Krakow and played in some incredible new ones, such as Prague, Budapest, and Warsaw. There was a lot of meat, a fair bit of vodka, and a whole heap of incredible shows. We’ll be rolling out a ton of content from the tour over the course of the next few weeks: live videos from Krakow and Budapest, more photos from some of our favorite shows.
Since coming back we’ve been back in the studio finishing our new EP and we’re happy to say that it’s all mixed and finished and ready to be shopped around.
We’re finishing up some videos and other exciting content before jumping back on the road in the Fall.

April has been a busy month on many fronts. The band hosted and headlined a Crown Height’s based mixed medium arts event at the beginning of the month, played a packed and high energy Rockwood show on the 18th and spent the rest of the time in the studio working on the new EP. The EP is 4 songs and is coming along nicely. We’ll be shopping it around in the summer and aiming for a Fall release.
Next Monday we’re off to Europe for our second tour. The dates just went up on facebook.com/natosbornmusic and will be up on this site shortly.
We’ve been fleshing out some new material lately and premiered a brand new song, called “Roam”, on Friday at Rockwood. We’ll be continuing to roll out new songs as the Spring and Summer unfold and are planning to have a new record’s worth of material by the end of the year, even after the EP release.
As always, thank you for being on this Journey with us. We’ll see you soon!
